Did you know that women make up nearly half of all business travelers today? This statistic might seem like a no-brainer since women make up 50% of the population, but until very recently, women did not travel for business nearly as much as their male counterparts. Last year, Hyatt conducted an 18 month study on female travelers including analysis and over 40 facilitated group discussions around the world to try and determine what it is that these female travelers really want and how to cater to them. Here at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, we are proud to participate in some new offerings that were developed from the study that specifically cater to women’s ease comfort and satisfaction!
- Assurance of a clean guest room. Room attendants now place personalized cards in every guest room after it has been cleaned which not only assure the guest of a thorough cleaning, but allow the room attendant to make a personal connection with the guest.
- Hyatt’s new “Hyatt Has It” program: forget a cell phone charger, curling iron, razor, make up remover, steamer… you name it! Hyatt Has It! Items can be borrowed complimentary or purchased onto your guestroom depending on the nature.
- New menu options including fresh juices, smoothies, balanced portions, and a “create your own” meal option. Create YOUR perfect plate with a selection of proteins, sauces, vegetables, and sides.
- No more generic shampoos and soaps. All guests at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place now enjoy upgraded bath amenities and products from KenetMD Skin Care.
Although these new offerings were designed with women in mind, over the last few weeks since we’ve rolled out the Women’s Experience, we’ve found that all of our guests have been enjoying the new amenities!
Want to try out the new Women’s Experience? Our Total Freedom Package is available through Sept 1st and includes free Internet access, self-parking, and breakfast for two for the same price as our daily rate! That’s an $84/day savings!
